Cardboard Robot

I thought it would be a fun way to pass a rainy day with my 5 year old girl.

I modelled it after instructions in Max, taking care to keep all polygons strictly planar, then unwrapped the UVs avoiding stretching and scaling.

We then printed out the UVW template and traced the corners onto cardboard from a serial box. Finally I cut the pieces with a scalpel and she assembled them with Bostic glue. Took for ever to make, but my kid loved it. Good stuff..
